Who's going to be running the 70th annual MRR? If so, who's going to be sporting the heat colors? I'm planning on wearing the team colors on Thursday, and i hope to see a bunch of you there. Good luck and happy Thanksgiving to all.

Good Luck All you HEAT members running the Manchester Road Race. Manchester is the only place to be at Thanksgiving but unfortunately, I can't be there
 . I'll be running with 14,000 "friends" in Cincy.  and remember to  after the race!Dr. C.

Congrat's on your new MRR PR!!! Not only did you break 40 minutes, but you are now under 35. Way to go!!! The foul weather must suit you. I'm begining to think my luck for 2006 is to compete in the wind and cold rain (Mooseman, IMWI, and MRR). Oh well, you know what they say. If it doesn't kill you it will only make you stronger. (and i wore my HEAT colors - can you say BRRRRR!!!!). |

I missed Manchester but wore the HEAT colors in Weymouth MA at the Dreamcatcher Classic 5 Miler. Same weather but it sure feels good to run! I managed a 7:12 pace in the cold rain so I felt no guilt eating my turkey. Hope to see some folks at Santa's Run this Sun the 3rd. I will bring the socks for those who are interested in buying a pair or two.

Mike, congrats on a speedy time under the harsh conditions. this was the first year I used a seeding card and what a difference a great way to wrap up the season
