I'll be doing it and it looks like Vin will be there also. I'm using it as a last long run before IMAZ.

I will likely run this half with a new goal: to take it slow and easy.

I'm thinking of going out to Danbury and doing the 1/2 there. I bet I can take it more easy than Jamie!!!!

I think I saw Jamie riding his bike this AM. He looked fast and freezey to me. Have a good half whichever you choose. They both have hills.

If you're looking to take it slow, then stick with me Jamie.

At least four HEAT members went North, some not far from their home, for some solid base training, at the Westfield Half. After a few challenging hills in the first few miles, the race flattened out. The weather was near perfect for a run, although toward the end a headwind began to build. Raphael, sporting his new lean physique, posted an impressive 136.34. I enjoyed running with Raph for a good part of the race. He is going to post an impressive IM Arizona.
Vin and Karen came in the mid 140's looking strong. A nice low key event for a good cause on a forgiving course with a comfortable 11:00 a.m. start. I will have it on my calender for next year, and hopefully, it will not conflict with Brain's Beachside Bogey, which I enjoy doing. Jamie |

Dave could have posted a faster time, but he was weighted down by all his gadgets.

yep -- and it was my lack of toys(not even a wristwatch) that kept me a few steps ahead of him
