 Hey everyone. Don't forget to keep your HEAT membership current. The membership fee is only $35 and is good for a full year. (not just a calendar year). Membership includes free HEAT gear, discounts at our sponsors), huge discounts on HEAT clothing, HEAT training sessions (spinning, and HEAT Masters Swim, and access to the HEAT MEMBERS only forum. Thanks for the replies - good discussion.
To answer a few questions: 1) All members are notified 2-3 weeks in advance of their expiration date. You can renew "early" and your expiration date is just extended. 2) There are security and privacy concerns with publishing membership lists and emails addresses on the website (for general viewing) without individual waivers. Our policy up to this point is to leave this decision to each individual member. 3) If you want to share your REAL name and email address, just update your forum profile. Click on MY CONTROL CENTER, MY ACCOUNT, EDIT PROFILE. Click on the "Show Email Address" box. 4) The membership card should be presented in order to get the HEAT discount from our sponsors. It will also be required to participate in many of the new HEAT programs for Insurance purposes. |

Please be aware that we will be making some changes to the HEAT membership renewal process.
Currently, your memberships may be set up as annual Paypal "subscriptions". We will be changing this to avoid renewals being automatically created. You may receive an email stating that your membership has been "canceled". All this means is that your membership will not be "automatically" renewed. YOUR HEAT MEMBERSHIP WILL STILL BE ACTIVE. Also, there are several new Programs and Discounts being offered to active members. Let me know if you do not have access to the MEMBERS ONLY section in the HEAT Forum or need a replacement Membership Card. Thanks and have a great holiday.
