University Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 5-6:AM and Sundays from 3-4:30pm. If you are interested or have any questions please feel free to contact me
at sonocomastersswim@yahoo.com. This program is for all

I plan to be there also.
A few of us swam with the Sonoco Masters program for years before it was disbanded (pre-HEAT days). For those new to Masters, a workout is posted and people split up into lanes based on ability. It's not a competition and there is no requirement to complete the workout. Typically there is less 1/1 "coaching" but you'll get a great workout. This is a good option for those who got shut out of the HEAT Y program. I believe the cost is $4 for a walk-in or you can get a program card for $45 for 15 swims. Really can't beat that price. NOTE -- The CCSU pool is a bit cold but that will make you swim faster. |

The Sunady swim was the best workout I have had in a while. The practice was 4000yds with a timed 500 in the middle. There was plenty of space with only
seven or eight of us using six lanes. The water temp seemed perfect to me Vin. Hopefully, we will continue to increase turnout as the winter approaches. This
is a great option for those shut out of the Y, or even for those looking for a two-a-day.
