Another nice night to race. The weather threatened up until just before race start and then the lifeguards opened the waterfront back up at 6:15 and the race
started a few minutes later.
Not much time for a good warmup as there was a debate on wether to do a DU or tri, all pending on the head lifeguard's decision to open water or not.
I noticed alot of HEAT members racing. I also caught a few comments from other's on the HEAT group size, uniforms, etc. All positive.
I got another 2nd place and took 46 sec off of last week's time. Again a rough swim with the large numbers and short distance. I know Sharon said she is trying the get Ken, Timer, to do
two waves like last year. But again it is really nice to have Ken Platt and his timing chips and matts!
