Well, i just returned from the Ridgefield race.
And it seemed to be a dublicate race as the Harriman 2 weeks ago. ALMOST !
I was in the 2. start wave again 3min behind the first wave. Very nice swim in the lake without any waves..
I came out of the water second but could pass the guy on the way to the transition.
Then i startet my hunt on the bike again..
Without knowing that Max Wunderle was leading the group from the 1st wave..
After approx. 10mile on the bike someone told me i was in the 4th position... overall!
When i came back to T2 i saw the first runners ...
I placed my bike in the rack and run out of T2. In my oppinion this run course was VERY hilly..ouch...
The guy on position 3 was always visible for me and i counted around 40sec he was ahead of my. (And he was from the 1st wave, which puts me 2:20min ahead of him..)
THEN......!!!!!!!!!!!
Almost at km 4 there was a intersection. The official race assistant was talking to people in a car, not paying attention for the racers.
I scream 3 times "which direction".."what way"...and she was really not in a rush... and just throw here right arm in the air
.......and so i turned left 
WRONG WAY!
After another hill up and down i found my self in a dead end road!
She was not even trying to get me back on the race course..!
There was nothing else to do as to turn arround and run back.
I dont want to mention here what i said when i saw here again...
The result of the day was a 11th place in 1:07h and Max (congratulation!) as the winner.
After the race i went back to the "corner of disaster". I had to find out how much i run more.
It was exactly 1.2km ! The winning time today was 1:02h.......
