Anyone doing either the Ironhorse 1/2 marathon or the 10k next Sunday 6/1?

Good luck guys! I've decided to pass this year on account of Firmman being the next weekend. I will be volunteering in some fashion on that day. If
anyone is not racing or has a spouse/older children they would like to put to work we could use them. We are a bit short on volunteers. Karen

I'm running (jogging) the 10K, my first. My goal is to finish before being lapped by the 1/2 marathoners.

A bit warm for a 1/2 marathon, but saw a lot of HEATSTERS having fun out on the course this morning. Great turn-out and post-race activity.
The boys look ready for LP, Louisville and Firman. Here's some of the results I picked out: (Doug Lord wins with the best blisters which he proudly displayed at the Cornerstone swim time-trial later in the day). 16 MIRO BALDYGA 49 M 3/43 M4549 1:30:00 6:52 17 ROBERT CASSOT 45 M 4/43 M4549 1:30:09 6:53 34 DOUGLAS CASEY 41 M 8/51 M4044 1:35:35 7:18 61 DAVE COUTURE 37 M 9/43 M3539 1:39:28 7:36 79 DOUGLAS LORD 38 M 11/43 M3539 1:41:56 7:47 175 BILL HONECK 43 M 28/51 M4044 1:51:15 8:30 203 VIN DARCY 49 M 28/43 M4549 1:53:33 8:40 301 SEAN CAFFYN 31 M 25/39 M3034 2:00:26 9:12 348 JANE BEAUDOIN 43 F 24/44 F4044 2:04:58 9:32 403 KELLY BURNS 27 F 1/10 ATHENA 2:10:54 10:00 Also a strong 10k by Mark Flynn 6 MARK FLYNN 41 M 2/18 M4044 40:33 6:32 And

Nice job to all the runners!!!
How about Miro and Rob.... Wow...Looks like Miro and Rob where going at it tooth and nail. Both are headed to L.P. which should lead to a rather nice smack down at the full I.M. distance. Even though Rob has the "SINK OR SWIM" moniker I'm thinking he will have the edge in the swim. They both look to be the same on the run so that's a push. I guess it will all come down to the bike. I've ridden with both of them and I'd be hard pressed to choose the better cyclist (they both kick my butt). Boy oh boy, this should be great!!! |

Since there are no other takers..anyone know how to get ahold of Miro in the real world so I can see if he wants to do 100 this weekend? |
