I'm in also. Weather could be interesting. Rick says race is on! Be worth showing up just for the food.

well, to those who competed, how did it go? Was there a snow shoe division?

You did have to pay attention to footing though many parts as conditions were a bit slushy and packed snow on the dirt portions. Other than that, temp was
fairly warm with some light snow, and it was a very pretty run. Can't beat the hot shower and hot food afterward.

A very well run race. Low keyed, but over 150 racers-- $2 entry fee, no chip timing but great course (hilly but scenic). Sort of like the old days. Saw
Jeff Sowa, Karen, and Miro before the race but noticed a few other HEATSTERS in the results. Cristiano Gloria blasted through the course and probably
finished the free buffet before I finished. New members Mark Russell and Anita Ramamurthy also had strong showings.
Definitely recomend this next year even if it's just a long training run. Full results are at Greystone Racing. |
