HEAT Monthly Board Meeting - Monday, March 10, 2008 at Hooker Brewery at 6:00 pm. Meeting attendees included: Dean Bolt, Vin Darcy, Rafael Martinez, John Pugmire, Erica Dinner, Ken Schulz, Jim Flynn, Sean Caffyn, Kim Sass and Donna Cannon.
The meeting was called to order at 6:15 pm. Items discussed
included:
1. Membership Report - The club has 140
active members! (2 more than last month) Membership T-shirts will arrive this week and be distributed to those members
who have recently joined/renewed.
2. Treasurer Report - We have ample funds in the bank which will allow us to subsidize the uniforms (and offer great prices to our members), have a great spring party and order a new banner.
3. Sponsorship Report - The website continues to be updated for new sponsor discounts/offerings. The board will continue to evaluate sponsorship requests as they arise and will also measure requests against club need and current sponsors to ensure fairness to all parties.
4. Programs Report - the swim program continues to be a great addition to the club offering. The average number of participants each week is 18 and 55 different members have attended these sessions. The program is currently in week 9 of the first 10. The program will continue through June 1st.
5. Website Update - nothing to report.
6. Other Misc
a. UNIFORMS: - the uniform ordering process has started and the information is posted to the website. We have secured another year of great uniform pricing and we encourage all members to order items before the deadline. The LAST DAY TO ORDER will be March 21, 2008.
b. Spring Party - April 19th, at Winding Trails. We have the space from 10 am - 6 pm and we will be posting a detailed agenda with the planned activities for the day. Please post your RSVP by replying to the Forum Topic under Announcements that was posted this week.
