Well guys, in my infinite lack of wisdom, I forgot that my daughter's dance recital starts at 7pm today. Therefore either I swim earlier today or I don't swim today. Since I doubt anyone could get up there sooner, looks like the latter of the 2. Was nice of me to initiate this hypothermic excursion for the rest of you though, was it not?

Come Friday you'll be wishing those kids were in Westhill Lake instead of the pool.

I'll get there on Friday if I can, but I gots no neoprene cap with flowers .

Jim...Jim....Jim!!!!
Now lets be clear, The Mike you refer to is Mike K. (coach) and we only had 2 lanes for 7 of us. The other 2 lanes were being hogged by 3 swimmers who don't circle.
As for water temp. I think it was like 100 degrees, and I was feeling the effects for hours after. I complained about it to Jeff and he said he would check into it. I'm not expecting much as this seems to happen after every weekend that they have the kids swim lessons.
Now about West...

Yeah Mike, I was trying to pre-heat to get ready for Friday
When I finally got a lane, it was about 90 degrees in the pool, I didn't stop sweating for a couple hours.

By the way, as much as we appreciate your witticisms re: West Hill Lake, we've yet to see you in it!
(yeah, yeah I know you live 400 miles away)

Karen--I'm in!
Vin also told me he would be going.
My neoprene cap is here, so I probably won't freeze to death
but we could cut the swim in half if it's really cold.

this separates the men and women from the boys and girls!
and it is important to get in some open water swimming

I'm hoping the warm weather this week will help thaw out the lake by Fri. That and it being my last chance for an open water swim before Firmman, I am planning to head up there after work on Fri. Any takers??
