tec-wick shirt, hat, and gloves. I used my new toy (Garmin 305) and set up the Virtual Trainer at my goal pace 6:40. What I noticed within the first few
miles was that that watch was shorting each mile by a short distance. Either that or the miles were long. I did care much because If I...

Nice job guys!!! The thing i remember most about Hyaniss was how sore my feet felt after the race. Lots of cement roads out there with little cobbles that made
my feat go numb. You guys all had terrific races and hopefully are now recovering well.

I planned on doing Colchester but wimped out after digging out Sat. morning and knowing how poor a runner i am in the slippery stuff. I couldn't get myself
geared up to slip and slide for 13 miles, but i understand Karen Anastasio when...

Great job on going under 3hrs you were probally half way home before I finished. I ran a 3:43:32 I am still a rookie at these endurance events so I kept a
conservative pace through the first loop. I was feeling strong through mile 17-19 so I picked up the pace ,that might of been too early. My pace slow just a
bit ,but I am satisfied I did'nt walk any part of the marathon. Dave

Great job! That's some great stuff. I looked but didn't see anyone I recognized. Sounds like you didn't wear your HEAT gear so it would have been
tough to spot you. I wore basically the same stuff you did. Under 3 hours, Great!
I saw lots of other tri guys there; cyclnauts, sharks and Boston clubs.
My race went well and I posted a PR of 3:25:10. Good for somewhere in the mid-fifties overall and 10th AG.

Weather cuoldn't have been better for a winter marathon. I...
