CCSU Sunday Swim Practices

Mooseman or Rev3

I'm trying to plan out my race schedule for next year and I'm having problems deciding on my early June race, Mooseman or Rev3. Has anyone done either of these before that can offer info on the race courses? Either one I end up doing I plan on doing both the Olympic and 70.3 races on back to back days because 7 months out that seems like a good idea. I like hills on the bike and run so I might be leaning towards Rev3 and getting beaten by Matty Reed and David Thompson, but Mooseman...

Dave and I recently completed a circumnavigation of Cape Cod (Dave beat me by a county)

We were not able to obtain lanes again at Cornerstone, but we have two other options available to us. CCSU is going to offer a Sunday swim for triathletes and masters' swimmers. So I had never done a Cyclocross race, actually I had never even seen one and I didn't have a cross bike. But I really wanted to try it. Winter Triathlons

Now that it's almost winter it's time to start thinking about winter triathlons. They consist of a run, bike, and nordic/skate skiing, all on the snow. Last year I did both of the triathlons and they were both 5K run, 7.5K bike, and 6K ski. There was also a duathlon that I missed that was a 4K run, 6K ski, 4K run. I did the Amica Newport Marathon Sunday. If you recall the weather was horrible. Temps in the low 40's, howling wind, and driving rain. I've never been in such horrible conditions in a race.
